What are Healthy Streets
But streets in our cities have been reduced to mere conduits for the movement of automobiles. This has made walking, cycling, or using public transport less desirable. On the other hand, driving personal motor vehicles has become the most desirable choice.
‘Healthy Streets’ are designed for people where everyone can move around easily. Healthy Streets create healthy cities where citizens choose to walk, cycle, and use public transport—modes of transport that keep them and our planet healthy. Healthy Streets act as vibrant public spaces. They improve the quality of life of everyone, especially the underprivileged, by allowing them to spend quality time outdoors

-
